Does anyone know if there is a union for IT workers? Is there some origanization that can help bridge the salary gaps and help keep our jobs in the US?

The Communications Workers of America (CWA, [www.cwa-union.org]) is one you will definately want to check out. They have dedicated one division specifically for IBM workers (http://www.allianceibm.org/) which may be of interest to you. I'm certain they would be very interested in helping you and your coworkers benefit from collective bargaining in your workplace.
