Hello Dustin,
Per the email below, I am having great difficulty in finding information to help my Uncle in obtaining his rightfully earned pension. As a result of his working as a pressman he is profoundly deaf and has gone for years without hearing aids because he is living on his Social Security. He has been in a catch 22. Mr. Stovall tried at some point to collect his pension however due to his disability, he was unable to resolve the situation because of his inability to hear and he was unable to obtain any information even try to find an address or local to contact in writing. Nor is he able to use a phone to try to resolve this issue himself because of his disability. So he just let it go and has lived for years solely on his Social Security. It was only when I moved to Tennessee and discovered this fact that I began trying to help and resolve this issue for him.
At your suggestion, I contacted all the parties you stated in you email to me (below) with absolutely NO response from any one of them. I've made numerous attempts. You did state in your reply if I needed further assistance to contact you. I did just that last March, however I never heard back from you either. I started this process back in November and have not given up hope.
It seems rather appalling to me that somewhere, someone has monies that are owed to Mr. Stovall. Yet all the parties you suggested and to which I have written, have totally ignored my inquiries. No responses at all. I find this disconcerting considering the import of the issue. Someone, somewhere must have answers and..... his pension money. How many others are not receiving pensions due to their own disability that make it impossible for them to do this type of leg work? This has gone on for years for Mr. Stovall and would have never been noticed if I had not asked a few questions of my Uncle. Mr. Stovall worked. He was in the Union. He suffered the loss of his hearing as a result of his work with the presses. He deserves his pension. Will you please help me help him? I really would like to help resolve this for him soon..... sooner is better in this instance; Mr. Stovall is going to be 77 years old in August.
I would again be ever so grateful for any assistance you may offer.

Thank you.

Hello Dustin,
I wrote the Organizations you suggested in your email attached with no results. No one answered back. I do believe my Uncle was in the 'Printers Specialists Union'. He worked for Millprint in South San Francisco, Flexpax, Redwood City and Foote and Davies, Brisbane, all in California. His name is George Stovall and he retired in 1992, and went on Social Security. I do believe he is entitled to some sort of pension from this Union per my first note to you. I really would appreciate any information you may be able to supply me as to helping him. He is 76 years old now, his birthday is August 6, 1930.
Thank you .
Regards,
Deborah Frey

Please consider posting about your experience in our new site feature, http://www.myunionspace.com. Thank you for the opportuntity to address your question.
