If so, would be the first I've heard anything like this; it sounds like an unsubstantiated rumor. In fact, the SEIU is one of the fastest growing unions. They currently have approximately 1.8 Million members and have been focusing on helping service employees (jobs which can not be offshored) to gain a real voice and better compensation. One of their latest, largest victories was when they organized approximately 5,000 building service workers in the Right To Work FOR LESS state of Texas.
