Workers Ratify Collective Bargaining Agreement One Year After Organizing

When 428 workers ratified their first ever collective bargaining agreement right around the Labor Day weekend, I thought … excellent timing to make the announcement. As I put the story together, however, I began to realize that this CBA came almost a year after the workers voted to join the union. That lead me to thinking about the section of the Employee Free Choice Act that speaks directly to this issue.
