Hawaii Mortgage Resources, LLC, dba Reverse Mortgage Specialists is an FHA-approved reverse mortgage loan originator. The goal of RMS Hawaii is to help seniors achieve the best quality of life possible.

The Company’s President, Jean Seki has nearly 9 years of experience in the reverse mortgage industry and is a Certified Senior Advisor. She was formerly the reverse mortgage consultant who started the reverse mortgage program for a national lender in Hawaii. Prior to that, Seki retired from Bank of Hawaii after serving as President of, and successfully closing, Bank of Hawaii subsidiary, First Federal Savings and Loan Association of America.

The company’s motto, “Where Seniors are Special,” keeps its employees ever mindful that the welfare of our seniors is most important. At each step of the loan process, our consultants strive to treat our Seniors with the respect and dignity that they deserve.

While the company operates from its downtown office located in the Pioneer Plaza, its Specialists serve clients on all islands.  An additional service provided by the company is the conducting of seminars to educate mortgage and finance professionals as well as the general public about reverse mortgages.

So many misconceptions about reverse mortgages are still circulating so the Company works on providing up-to-date information about the benefits of these types of loans. While reverse mortgages are not for everyone, there are many who, for various reasons, can truly benefit by exercising this option.
