Wayside House

Wayside House is a Minnesota non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with over 55 years of experience in assisting women struggling at the nexus of chemical dependency, mental illness, poverty, and parenting difficulties.  Through its caring, gender-responsive treatment and supportive housing programs, Wayside helps more than 330 women each year (and about 80 children) recover sobriety, home, and family.  Stability and self-sufficiency are major goals.  By building relationships and community, providing structured and stable environments, and giving women tools to handle their many challenges, Wayside House partners with women in recovery to create something new:  a sober, stable, positive, and happy life.
