United Members Insurance  (UMI) has been active in the Union movement for over thirty (30) years. We are a 100% UNION company. All of our employees are, and have been, "dues paying" members of Teamsters Local 79 in Tampa, Florida

We support Unions and their causes both financially and politically and are PROUD to say so! We are also proud that at least 90% of the major Unions in Florida are insured by us. Plus, most of the Unions we insure have been with us at least 10 years.

Even though our main state is Florida, we have Unions insured throughout the USA and are expanding daily. Also, even though we have most of our Union business with one company, we shop the market for the best coverage at the cheapest prices.

We also have a long-standing relationship with Mr. Charlie Harris, President Emeritus of the Florida AFL-CIO, as our Union Advisor.
